Dear Parents,
Welcome to the Counseling Cottage! Here at Meadowlane Elementary
we are pleased to say that we enjoy working with the boys and girls from
Pre-K to 5th grade in our lovely counseling group room.
The primary focus of our program is working with students in small groups
which emphasize the topics of peaceful conflict resolution, self-esteem,
self-control, positive anger management, study skills, the changing family,
career awareness, values and virtues, and much more.
In addition, to better serve students, parents, and teachers we divide
our services by grade level with Mrs. Darnaby addressing the concerns of
Pre-K through 2nd grade and with Mrs. Marrero serving the 3rd through 5th
grades.
